Dondi Lynn Collins

Dondi Lynn Collins departed this life on August 26, 2021 in Charlotte North Carolina. Dondi  was bon on January 1, 1961 to Lenard and Sidney Collins. She was the third of four sisters. After the the death of her loving mother, Dondi was raised by her father and stepmother Ruby Langlois Collins in Tucson, AZ. She graduated from Cholla High School in 1979 and later worked at Circle K Store, as a cashier. She moved to Long Beach, California in 1981 and worked at Great Western Bank as a bank teller. Dondi held employment at CVS Pharmacy for over 20 years, as a cashier and sales associate. She loved to sing and had a beautiful angelic voice. Her dimpled smile made your day brighter. She liked listening to soul R & B and Rock music from the 70's. She was a great home decorator and could fix anything that was broken. She loved to read books and was knowledgeable of events happening around the world. Dondi was kind hearted and considerate of others. She helped so many people in her life, displaying generosity to friends, neighbors and people she didn't know. Dondi was a great listener . She was quiet, non judgmental a peace maker and she always minded her own business. She showed love for her family by giving plenty of hugs, kisses, cards, phone calls home cooked meals, desserts and homemade gifts. Dondi will be greatly missed. She was named the Best Auntie by all of her nephews and nieces as well as the Best Sister anyone can have. Dondi was preceded in death by her parents, grandmother Gladys Lucille Collins (deceased march 27, 2020), brother Kevyn Collins and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins . She leaves behind unforgettable memories to sisters Jocquelyn Davis, Desiree Collins and Ronda Spearman. Nephews: Orvon A. Davis, Jarreau A. Davis, Jasmond T. Carroll, Jayden Alexander- Davis, J'Lon Carroll, Titus Garcia. Nieces: Marquita Carroll, Telilah Spearman, Tiffany Spearman, Alexandria Geiger, Caroline Collins, Jaszay Carroll, Jade Robinson and a host of dear family members and friends.
